WAZ: ‘Artist Dan Geffert lives for graffiti’

14/08/2019

On Monday 12 August, the Gelsenkirchen section of the WAZ published an article about me and my artistic work. It reports on my involvement in legal graffiti commission painting as a self-employed graffiti artist, on my biggest projects to date, such as the salt cave in the bunker in Gelsenkirchen Scholven and a huge façade in Herford town centre. Kira Schmidt, the author, goes into detail about my career as a graffiti artist. She talks about how I started painting with a spray can and how I continued to professionalise my passion for graffiti, so that this year I was given the opportunity to design the entrance area of the Marta art museum in Herford with a graffiti work of mine

In addition to graffiti commissions, Kira also reports on my activities in the field of fine art and announces upcoming exhibitions. On the one hand, I am exhibiting from 18 October to 24 November at the Museum Folkwang in Essen in the exhibition ‘Das beseelte Ding’ and on the other hand with my gallery Pashmin Art in the exhibition ‘Pashmin Art Circulation’ in China at the Chongqing Cultural Centre for Contemporary Art.
