professional graffiti and experimental art

Vita

Dan Geffert (artist name: Sponk), born in 1989 in Bochum, grew up in Gelsenkirchen, is an internationally recognised artist and has been a graffiti artist since 2005. A freelance artist since 2012, he has created well over 1000 works, from abstract acrylic paintings to the largest wall design by a single artist in NRW (800 m²). He has sprayed live at festivals such as Summerjam, presented works in Europe, China and the USA and has been broadcast on Chinese television CCTV. His donated works raised a total of over €30,000 at charity auctions. With projects such as the painting of the Tupac column in front of the Marta Museum in Herford, Sponk combines art and social commitment. His journey has only just begun.
