SPONK at the Summerjam Festival 2025

When everything revolves around reggae, dancehall, hip-hop and afrobeats at Fühlinger See in Cologne from July 4 to 6, 2025, music will meet visual magic, because urban artist SPONK will be live on site this year with a very special event!

In the middle of the festival grounds, SPONK will create a unique 180×180 cm work of art using his unmistakable mixed-media technique – a powerful composition of spray paint, touch-up pens and acrylic paints. The motif is the “Native American Lion” – an impressive symbol of strength, cultural diversity and spiritual power. This artwork is created in real time – you can be there live when art, music and community merge into a common message.

An artistic statement for cultural diversity. The work symbolizes the spirit of the Summerjam Festival: community, respect, empowerment and conscious cooperation across cultural boundaries.

For a good cause

After the festival, the finished artwork will be auctioned off on United Charity – with an ambitious goal: 14,000 euros! The proceeds will go in equal parts to Viva con Agua and Help Jamaica – two organizations that campaign for access to clean drinking water and education worldwide.
