Pink Jupiter - Sponk

Sponk im digitalen Zeitalter

04/09/2021

The graffiti artist Sponk wants to set an example with his work ‘Pink Jupiter’. ‘The world is becoming more and more digital and I will be part of this development!’ For several years now, Sponk has been exploring the aesthetics of the macroscopic world of colours and liquids in his ‘Vivid Liquids’ project. Technical devices and computers have become essential tools in his art practice. In 2017, Sponk even went one step further and developed an ‘Ernst Haeckel’ machine himself, a technical apparatus to elicit even more secrets from the nature of his wild colour orchestras. ‘I am the conductor, the colours are the instruments and my machine is the extension of my human abilities’. This is how Sponk creates huge colour landscapes like ‘Pink Jupiter’.

As a friend of nature, Sponk wants to leave no stone unturned to protect nature and is auctioning this unique work of art exclusively on the Unitedcharity.de website as the world’s largest work of art embossed as an NFT.

More Information

Sponk thinks a lot about our lives in the future and firmly believes that art in digital form will be an integral part of our lives. The real world is becoming increasingly intertwined with the digital world. This is already very clear in video games today, but Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are also showing how important the virtual world will be in our future! NFTs offer our society the possibility that art will have a position and also a value in this world.

For this reason, Sponk, in cooperation with bitrockxa.com, has minted more of its artworks exclusively as NFTs:
