The Chongqing International Modern and Contemporary Art Exhibition was my first major international exhibition and a huge adventure in my artistic career! Chongqing is a breathtaking city, truly the largest and most modern I have ever seen.
A seemingly endless skyline made up of a sea of skyscrapers, which, when switched on in Koegraphie, presented a lively play of light.
The opening of the exhibition, organised by the Pashmin Art Gallery, reflected exactly this splendour to present my ‘Vivid Liquids’. Ambassadors from Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Russia were present, as well as many well-known Chinese politicians and cultural patrons. Not forgetting, of course, twenty talented artists who presented their art together with me at this exhibition.
